Pwy pwy yw'r rhai'n
yr hyfryd ddisglaer lu,
Sydd newydd groesi
tònau'r afon ddu?
Bloeddiant fawl eu Ceidwad cu:
"Golchwyd eu gynau hwy
yn ngwaed yr Oen."
Ant i mewn trwy'r pyrth -
nefol pyrth Jerusalem;
"Golchwyd eu gynau hwy
yn ngwaed yr Oen."
Dyma y plant yn foreu,
gyda blas,
Garasant Iesu'n fwy
na phechod cas,
Cawsant brofi
nerth ei ras,
"Golchwyd eu gynau hwy
yn ngwaed yr Oen."
Dyma'r rhai aeth at Iesu
dan bob crwys,
Mewn gwae a phoen a gorthrymderau dwys,
Rhoisant arno'n drwm eu pwys,
"Golchwyd eu gynau hwy
yn ngwaed yr Oen."
Dyma'r rhai yn wrol
aeth ym mlaen,
Er llid gelynion,
nerthoedd dwr a thân;
"Dowch i mewn!" medd Iesu glan:
"Golchwyd eu gynau hwy
yn ngwaed yr Oen."
Yn Nghanaan wlad, mor ddedwydd ydynt hwy!
Heb ing na phoen,
heb adfyd nac un clwy',
Moli maent yr Iesu mwy:
"Golchwyd eu gynau hwy
yn ngwaed yr Oen."

Tôn [10.10.7.10+11.10]: Washed in the Blood of the Lamb |
Who, who are these,
the delightful radiant host,
Who have just crossed
the waves of the black river?
Who shout their dear Saviour's praise?
"Their robes were washed
in the blood of the Lamb."
They go in through the gates -
the heavenly gates of Jerusalem;
"Their robes were washed
in the blood of the Lamb."
Behold the children in the morning,
with zest,
They had loved Jesus more
than detestable sin,
They get to experience
the strength of his grace,
"Their robes were washed
in the blood of the Lamb."
Behold those who went to Jesus
under every cross,
In woe and pain and intense oppressions,
They had leaned heavily upon him,
"Their robes were washed
in the blood of the Lamb."
Behold those who bravely
went forward,
Despite the wrath of enemies,
the strengths of water and fire;
"Come ye inside!" says holy Jesus:
"Their robes were washed
in the blood of the Lamb."
In the land of Canaan, how happy are they!
Without anguish or pain,
without adversity or any wound,
They are praising Jesus evermore:
"Their robes were washed
in the blood of the Lamb."

Who, who are these
beside the chilly wave,
Just on the borders
of the silent grave,
Shouting Jesus' power to save,
"Washed in the blood
of the Lamb"?
"Sweeping through the gates"
of the new Jerusalem,
"Washed in the blood
of the Lamb."
These, these are they who
in their youthful days,
Found Jesus early,
and in wisdom's ways
Proved the fulness
of his grace,
"Washed in the blood
of the Lamb."
These, these are they who
in affliction's woes
Ever have found in Jesus calm repose,
Such as from a pure heart flows,
"Washed in the blood
of the Lamb".
These, these are they who
in the conflict dire,
Boldly have stood
amid the hottest fire;
Jesus now says: Come up higher;
"Washed in the blood
of the Lamb".
Safe, safe upon the ever shining shore,
Sin, pain, and death,
and sorrow are all o'er;
Happy now and evermore,
"Washed in the blood
of the Lamb".
